ABOUT US
Better information.
Better pay conversations.
We just want to make it easier for you to answer “What’s your salary expectation?” or negotiate your offer.
Explore salariesWhy this exists
It can be hard to know what to ask for when pay is rarely discussed openly. This index puts salary reports in one searchable place so you can find a starting point for your own conversation.
What the figures mean
The index began with 96 figures collected from public salary discussions. Some are first-hand reports, others are second-hand accounts or estimates. They are individual claims, not a representative survey or a guaranteed market rate.
Check the report type and pay basis before comparing figures. Monthly, daily and hourly pay stay separate, as do kwacha and US dollars. Allowances, deductions and experience can change the real comparison.
Share without a name
You can see a few reports before contributing. Sharing one genuine salary report opens the full index for good; returning contributors can restore access if their browser session ends. We ask about the role, sector and pay, but not for your name or email. Please avoid details that could identify a person.
You may enter an employer name for our private records. We do not display it unless that employer wants to be shown.
